LOTS OF GREEN

Enchantingly mystical – and always changing:

That’s the hallmark of the Sauerland Forest Route, a hiking trail that stretches from Marsberg to Iserlohn, covering a total distance of 240 km.

If you hike from Rüthen to Warstein or vice versa, a section of the trail passes right through Kallenhardt, taking you past landmarks such as the Calvary Hill, the Siechenkapelle

(Chapel of the Ailing), Sandkaule, Hoher (High) Stein, and Hohler (Hollow) Stein. In Kallenhardt, you can also embark on individual routes exploring the scenic surroundings

of Kallenhardt and its nearby areas.
